My brother and I spent some of our elementary years growing up on a very small lake in Orlando that was full of alligators, snakes, ducks, snapping turtles and catfish. We had a little john-boat that we’d row into the middle of the lake and go fishing. Most of the time we’d catch catfish, of all sizes and occasionally we’d catch a very small brim.
Last summer in Lake George, a beautiful place in north New York where our O’Regan family goes camping every year, I caught my first BIG fish early one morning.
I’ve now got my Florida fishing license and a brand new fancy fishing pole to go see what fresh catch awaits me!
